Challenge students to learn to find the median of sets of numbers. In this activity, students in sixth grade and up will move and match on-screen cards that show various sets of numbers, or dot plots. Students look for pairs with the same median.
The problems are designed to focus on mental math and the concept, not rote learning. Use the 15 PowerPoint screens for class discussion, with small groups, or for intervention. And you'll be in complete control of each PPT file and can upload directly to your Google Drive as Slides.
