Challenge students to learn to find the mean or average of sets of numbers. In this activity, students in sixth grade and up will move and match on-screen cards that show various sets of numbers, or bar graphs. Students look for pairs with the same mean.
The problems are designed to focus on mental math and the concept, not rote learning. Use the 15 PowerPoint screens for class discussion, with small groups, or for intervention. And you'll be in complete control of each PPT file and can upload directly to your Google Drive as Slides.
